There is a surprisingly close relationship between architecture and textiles. Even individual architectural element, such as the clay shingles that top traditional Japanese buildings, provide a rich source of pattern inspiration to NUNO’s designers. New for fall, “Roof Tiles” is woven on heritage jacquard looms using S and Z twisted Merino wool yarn for a crepe-like stretch, combining unprecedented softness with gentle warmth.
